Mother's Day Numero 3

Mother's Day is pretty traditional around these parts.  We spend time as a family during the day.  Take pictures next to Boston's tree and have our sushi picnic at the same park for dinner.

But there were a few things a little different.  Like....when I woke up, my boys were gone.  I knew they would be up to something but you never know with those two.  Ends up, they brought me some Starbucks back.
And had also been upstairs being artist.  I knew they were back because as I was having some me time laying in bed, Boston opens the door and exclaims, "I painting, I painting!" HA.  Jer quickly came in and directed him out the door while saying, "You're not supposed to tell her that."  LOL.  Lesson learned for him.  :)
Tickle time.
My more gifts.  iPad case and studded bracelet by the fabulous MK.
The tree has gotten some height over the last year.  You can see how much its grown here and here.
After picking up our sushi take-out we finally got to the park around 5pm.  It was absolutely perfect weather.  What I love about this little park is that we are always the only ones there.  This year we decided to bring Boston's scooter, too.
He's waiting for food.  He was "hunyee."
The annual picture of us and our spread.

Another annual picture.  Same spot, too.
Never a dull moment with these two.
At one point, Boston came running over to me with a little folded up yellow piece of paper.  Turns out he was delivering a love/Mother's Day note from my boy toy.  And it made me cry.  He has that effect with his words.
He looks sooo grown up.  Nooooo!
Ruunnn Forest, ruuunnn.
Our tree that we sit under.  Huge and beautiful.
It was after 7p and it was time to go.
HAHA.  I made a comment to Jer about the strolling strolling by itself.
So, he did this.  Acted like he had magic powers making it move.  HA.  I seriously could not stop laughing every time he did it.  This guy, such a goofball but can always make me belly laugh.
Until next year.....
