Shocker. But for the first time ever I mowed a yard. Our yard. I told Jer that I wanted to try it out. And, I thought that I'd be a good wife and help him so that he didn't have to stand the heat that much longer. I had never had the interest in doing any type of yard work. The thought of all that dust billowing in the air and landing all over me made me cringe. I admit, I'm a bit too girly for that kind of stuff. I prefer watching my men (husband and son) work from inside in the cool air through the windows.
I tried weed-eating first. Let's say, that's not my forte. Totally too hard for me. Too hard for me to not scratch up our wood fence. Yep, I left marks. Several. I was hesitant to tell Jer but I did. So he kindly said, "I'll do the weed-eating, you can mow." Ha. So that's what
We as in Bos and I. It was HIS first time also. For the past several months he's been infatuated with lawn mowers. This guy will even wake up in the mornings and start saying, "wawower" while laying in his crib.
So, while B and I were doing our thing.....I look over and Jer had the camera pointed at us. How did he know that I'd feel the need to blog about this? Smart
This is for the records. This will be the first of many many years of mowing for Boston. Soon enough, he'll be taking over for his dad and learning how to groom a yard, perfectly.
