During The Weekend

We had a pretty busy and great weekend.  

Friday we headed out to Central Market for dinner and groceries.  I like getting all my organic foods there (or Tom Thumb) and then the rest of my grocery list from walmart.  We love central market's food.  It's all so yummy.  And on Fridays, they have a live band/singer.  Our guy was really good.  We loved all of his songs.  While shopping Boston sat in their neat cart and to him he thought he was driving us around.  Ha.  Every time we go we always get Boston some trail mix (without peanuts).  He loves it!  That's what keeps him occupied while we are shopping.  So it's usually a pretty peaceful, methodical but speedy shopping experience.  :)

The next day we headed over to Boston's friend, Griffin's, birthday party.  They had a petting zoo that B couldn't get enough of.  He loved all of the animals.  But mainly the rabbits and the emu's tail.  After that we tried out Five Guys for the first time.  I have to say it was quite delish!!  And the husband even agreed!  In his eyes Whataburger has the best burgers and Five Guys seems to be on up there on his list.  

Sunday, Jer went to our second week of "Parenting The Biblical Way" class alone (since B still has a slight cough) and took great notes so I can blog about it in a few weeks.  Next week is the last week and I'll be attending.  Can't wait.  After we dropped Jer off at the church, Boston and I headed over to PetsMart to look at all the "anmuls."  Can't beat free entertainment.  The rest of the day we did things around the house, B too a nice long nap and ended the night by having a family movie night before B headed up for bed.  

It was one of those weekends that was pretty darn perfect.  So happy that these boys are mine to spend my life with.
