Confessional Friday and High Five For Friday

Today I'm linking up with two awesome bloggers!  Leslie for Confessional Friday and Lauren for High Five for Friday....both are pretty darn awesome in my book.  And gorgeous!

My confessions:

1.  I confess that I'm so darn flippin' excited about my first ever blogger date!!!  Celeste and I are meeting up for lunch on Sunday with no husbands and no baby.  That's right, we get to have some non-interrupted girl talk!  Eeeep!  Of course, I'll be sharing all about it sometime next week (or the week after :)).

2.  I confess that stink at working out.  I worked out 4 times last week and 0 times this week.  Just couldn't get motivated this week.

3.  I confess that I love Boston more and more everyday.  I can't even imagine how that's possible when I already love him to pieces.  But it is.

4.  I confess that this weekend is going to be strictly an "our family" kinda weekend.  We are going to knock out some things off our summer to-do list.

5.  I confess I absolutely hate it when Jer works late.  He's swamped at work and last night he got home at TEN PM!  And it doesn't look like it's gonna get better anytime soon.

6.  I confess I haven't read the Bible in I don't know how long.  Unacceptable.

7.  I confess that I ordered a few bracelets from Etsy and I can't wait to get them and share them with you.  In.love.with.them.

8.  I confess that I have been terrible with organizing my bagillion photos that I take with my camera and iphone.  Feeling a little overwhelmed.  So if you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.

9.  I confess that yesterday I started buying materials for B's 2nd birthday party invitations!!!  Yup, we are 2 months out, but it takes me a few weeks to get them made and mailed.  Thankfully I already know how I want to make them which tends to be the hardest part for me.

10.  Lastly, I confess that my mom's group at church starts back up later this month.  So ready to get back to worship and getting a couple of hours of "mommy/me" time on Tuesday mornings.

Yay for Friday's!

This is a neat little link up that I've decided to finally do.  I had been seeing it around the blogosphere lately but never participated....until now.

My "High Fives for Friday" are:
1. i love that Boston loves our summer series at our weekly story/sing/play time at the library (post to come later).

2. can't wait to get started on B's second "new" play table that I got for 2 bucks (the first one I got about 6 months ago and still need to re-do!).  he needs two because we'll be using them for different things.  post will come once i finish them.

3. ring pop!  hadn't had one since a kid, until this week.  blueberry flavor is always a favorite of mine.

4. really trying to loose some poundage off my waistline.  hoping fruit will keep me full during my "sweet tooth" cravings throughout the day and in the evenings (which is my worst craving time).

5. probably the best thing that we did this week was our play date at our local splash pad park with some awesome-gorgeous-sweet mommy friends and their babies.  seriously, i'm so blessed to have these women in my life.  best of all, they are devout Godly women and two of them are in my mom's group at church.  (post to come later)

Happy Friday!

I am terrible at printing and organizing pictures too! It's a task that I can just never seem to find time to get around to. Terrible! Found you through Leslie's link up and love your blog!

Yay for your first H54F! :) Not to "de-motivate" you or anything but Dr. Oz says it's perfectly fine to have a little ice cream for dessert since it has protein. :D

These are fun link-ups! I'll have to do them next week! I agree with your confession about loving your little man more every day, I feel the same way about mine and I don't even know how it's possible!

I can so related to having a husband who has to work so much. My husband has been getting up in the morning, working an hour or so from home, going to the office for 9-10 hours, coming home, and then working another 2-3 hours after the girls go to sleep (from about 8:30-11:30). I don't know how he's surviving. It's been like this for a couple weeks and there's no end in sight. I'm just lucky that he can put in his extra time from our living room, so at least he's home for supper and such.

Good luck to you. I hope you get more time with your husband very, very soon!
