Oh How We Love Our Independence Day

Celebrating holidays are freakin' flippin' fantastic.  Especially when we are celebrating our freedom.  And when your hubby has the day off.  And we can do whatever we want to do with whom ever we want to do it with.

So that's what we did.

We celebrated the heck outta our Independence day.  We had a whole lotta dinner with friends, fireworks with friends, eating, swimming, eating some more and just a plain 'ol good time going on.

Warning: there's a massive amounts of photos in this post.  Kudos to you if you actually make it to the end.

Ready....go....

Breakfast courtesy of the master of our home.  the bread maker.  the one that makes it possible for us to do everything we do.  the one that gave me Boston.
because we had such a late breakfast, we had a lunch.  with some, cupcakes, fruit kabobs (strawberries & blueberries), french fries, hamburgers and corn salsa.

this was our first time this summer to eat outside on the back patio as a family.  it was a lovely day to do it, too.  now that we broke the seal, we'll be doing this often.  sometimes with daddy, sometimes just with my baby boy.

another seal that was finally broken was going to our neighborhood pool.  i have an obsession with doing something as a whole family first.  now that that's happened, B and I will be going often during the day.
i can now mark this off our summer "bucket" list.

a guys gotta eat.

yes mom, i'll cut his mullet hair soon.  just not sure how soon.  :)  definition of a mullet according to Jer: "business in the front, party in the back"
this kid loves balls.

It was an absolute perfect family day celebrating the independence of our beloved U.S. of A!  Home sweet home.
