What I'm Loving Lately

Isn't this neat?  I love everything about the shelving and pictures.
Doing this really soon.  So stay tuned.  I have a perfect spot for this geometric wall art!
Loving the re-finished wood signs lately.  Something like this would be so cute for Boston's big boy room.  One day.
Simple and cute art you could do yourself.
Chalkboard and framed with an antique-ish frame = modern chic!
Pottery Barn always has the-best-playroom ideas.  The huge Dr. Seuss signs caught my eye.
A huge chalkboard wall is a must in playrooms.  Not sure if I'm Jer's brave enough to do this to a whole wall, though.
Looks so good!  The best part is it only requires 3 ingredients: bananas, cinnamon and honey.  I'll be trying this today except I'll substitute the honey for agave nectar (we don't have honey).
Isn't this genius?!  How yummy is this?  I have all 3 ingredients....maybe this'll be my lunch before my banana dessert.  Pitiful that I get so excited about food.  pickles, cream cheese, ham
Probably my favorite dessert yet.  I love easy desserts that don't require much work or too many ingredients.
This might be on our menu for our Valentine's day dinner.
Who doesn't want these?!  Would love them in a purple or hot pink/magenta!
Want these boots.
DIY heart jeans.  How stinkin' cute!!  This blog makes it look so easy to do, too!

We are so blessed to have Wyatt here on earth with us. Our family has recently expanded to a family of 4...Baby Sloane came March 13th! We love the Lord and know His "blessings are new every morning.""

What I'm Loving Lately

1.  I'm loving that Boston's 2nd birthday party was a SUCCESS!!!  *despite the rain*  Post coming next week, fingers crossed.  :)

2.  I'm loving that we had an awesome time on our vacation!  It was absolutely perfect.  And we got to stare at this handsome face all week.  Post also coming next week, fingers double crossed.
3.  I'm loving that we went to Boston's 2 year check-up yesterday and he passed everything with flying colors.  The doctor was even able to give us a projected height for him when he gets older.  I had no idea they could do this.  She said he's projected to be 6'2 plus or minus 2in.  Woah!!!  Daddy's only 6 foot.  Could Boston be taller than dada?!  We shall see.  :)  *I'm just glad he won't be short like momma*

4.  I'm loving that my new iPad I got from my lover!  I got it the night of Boston's party just for being a "good momma," so he says.  Boston turns 2 and I get a surprise gift....leave it to Jer.  So blessed by him.
5.  I'm loving that I'll finally be sharing some of our vacation on Friday.  It'll be all of our iPhone photos.

6.  I'm loving the new bracelets I've ordered through Groopdealz recently.
7.  I'm loving all of the new words Boston has been saying.  It's amazing how much he's saying lately.

8.  I'm loving this shirt that I made for Boston.  It took me about 10 minutes to make.  From start to wearable (finish).  I'll be posting how I made it, tomorrow.
9.  I'm loving our new duvet cover for our bed.  :)
10.  I'm loving this dessert and I'm dying to make it.  Soon.  #pumpkin #creamcheese
11.  I'm loving the sponsors on my right sidebar!!  Please check them out.  You'll love every one of them!

This And That

loving these new pumps I got from Target the other day for $8.98.  best part, their comfy!
love this website.  i made my first purchase the other day.  some nicely discounted washi tape!
really want this lens for my camera.  but then I'd have to learn how to use it.
still loving my flip.  i might use it too much.
loving these new hot pink pants I got at Nordstrom rack last week.
Boston might be a little obsessed with this movie.  it's such a good movie.  Jer and I both love it.  it's the first movie that Boston's ever watched (that wasn't Baby Einstein) and the first movie that he's ever cried about when it ends.  i'm talking crocodile tears.  oh and it was in the $5 bin at walmart.
while at Target over the weekend, I saw this coral-ish colored half dozen egg crate and fell in love.  it was only $4 but I had Jer with me.  he wouldn't see the need in a ceramic egg crate.
Can't wait to try these Pinterest recipes.
avocado chicken salad
eggplant and feta
crock pot meatballs
spinach and feta stuffed portabella mushrooms
Ruche has some of the cutest dresses.  Here's a few that I'm loving.

LOVING that Boston says his last name when asked.  It's so stinkin' adorable.  I got it on video Monday and, of course, sent it to all of the grandparents. :)

It's Wednesday

Again!  Geez, these weeks are zooming by.  It's Wednesday again and I'm back with more things that I'm loving.

I'm SOOOO loving this body spray.  It's delish/devine/delightful and any other "d" word you wanna add.  Trust me, it smells flippin' fantastic.  Definitely a great scent for the summer.  If you try it, you gotta tell me what you think.  Its called Kai body glow.
I'm loving this watch.  I want it for summer.  White and summer = lovely.  Best part is its only $150 on Overstock.com and if you get their emails, they often send out 10% off of watches.  By often I mean a lot!  So hubby if you're reading this.....my birthday and our anniversary is coming up.  If you wanna make this Latin girl happy and make you happy :) this would be the perfect gift.
I'm loving all things Wedges.  Being barely 5'0 feet tall, momma needs all the height she can get.  I mean, compared to Jer's 6 foot stature, I look like an umpaloompa if I don't have some kind of heel on.  Plus, wedges are so comfy.
I'm loving this little personalized placemat that I got B recently.  An alphabet placemat was perfect for practicing his alphabet while we eat (my favorite part was that it has lower case letters).  This leaves more time for us to play.  You know, because a toddler can only handle so much "school" time during the day.  :)
I'm loving that I stopped by the Gap on Sunday and go a boat load of things for Boston, and a little (very little) for me and Jer.  They were having and awesome sale WITH 25% off of their sale items (I was bummed to find out that the day before, Saturday, was 40% instead of 25).  Oh well, you win some, you loose some.

I'm loving backyards lately.  Now that its summer, I'm drawn to photos of back yards.  When we are in HD or Lowe's I immediately head towards the nursery to see if they have any pretty plants (that aren't in their last stages of life) that I can pick up and plant in my back yard.  To this date, there's been no decent plants I can find.  I don't want the hot pink or the red that they tend to have.  I want something pretty like Hydrangeas.  My goal: grow my own hydrangea plants.  They seriously are the prettiest flowers evah!
I'm loving that I've finally narrowed my choices down to 2 paint colors!  Can I get an Amen?!  Choosing paint is torture for me.  I'm constantly wanting to paint rooms but can never ever never ever choose a paint color without getting like 10 thousand samples.  3 summers ago, I got over 30 different paint samples from Sherwin Williams at $5 a pop!  Seriously.  Another true story.  It was bad!  I could have bought 10 gallons with that money.... I know, I know!  So this time around I was warned by the hubs, not to get any samples.  And to choose from the ones that we already have.
I'm loving that my husband JUST asked me if I was putting together my post for "What I Love About Wednesday?"  HAHAHA.  That's why he's what Guiliana Rancic would call - Amazeballs.  Love that guy.

Happy Hump Day!

It's Wednesday

A few things that I'm loving this week....

Totally in love with the "somewhat" decent priced ($22.00) bracelets from J.Crew.  Bright colors mixed with gold....you can't go wrong.
Isn't this truly amazing?!  I'd never leave my house if this was my backyard.
Mason jars....love them.  They are so versatile.  These are so simple but pretty.  I'm planning on doing these soon for an upcoming backyard gathering.
I'm co-hosting a house warming party later this summer.  How cute is this!!  I'm gonna run this by my other co-host....hopefully we'll make this for one of our food tables.
I'm loving my matching fedora baby boy (instagram).
i can never get enough of this little guy.
neon!
so glad it's summer.  love me some cherries (via instagram)!
