Last Friday, the day Boston turned 25 months old, we went over to our neighborhood park for a little park fun and then we walked down the hill to a little running creek/pond so Boston could be his little "boy-self." As in, let him be a boy. And that means, doing what boys do, finding rocks and throwing them into the water.
He got such a kick out of throwing rocks and seeing them splash in the water. My cheers and praising and excitement might have helped just a bit. He was having the time of his life.
All the while, mommy was on the constant look out for water moccasins, spiders, scorpions, deer and whatever else animal decided to come visit us. I was scuurd! But he was having fun and that's all that mattered. Ohhh and the fact that I was getting some pictures of my 25 month old to cherish.
This marked his first time throwing rocks into a pond. Something that we'll now make a habit out of each week.
By the way, forewarning, these were all shot in complete manual mode so some may be blurry and too bright and there are a ton of them. :)

He is too cute! Way to go for manual mode. It can be tricky but keep using it! Soon, it will be like breathing. And so much better than letting you camera think for you.
So cute!! love little man!!! xoxox
