Dear Boston,
What a stud you have become. At the risk of seeming arrogant, it is just awesome to be parents of a boy who constantly gets told he is so cute and that his eyes are gorgeous. We remain entirely proud of you.
This past month has been so hot, and so busy for our family. While Daddy has continued to work long hours at the new firm, Mommy has poured countless time and effort into getting everything together for your first birthday party. Mommy's so excited and loves every second of the party preparations, which, in turn, makes Daddy smile. We know it's going to be a great day.
You have continued to make strides in your growth and development. The best part of being a parent is being right there when your child does something or figures something out for the first time. Here are some of your key advancements this last month:
* You love holding your hands up in the air and looking at them.
* You started crawling up the stairs.
* You started nursing only in the mornings.
* You got your 2nd cold this month. :(
* You tried organic cheese puffs and really liked them.
* You started screeching with excitement.
* You still love to open and close doors.
* You were dedicated to the Lord! Here.
* You got your first molar on the right side.
* You got your first bruise/contusion. :(
* You cried this month for the first time when daddy left to work. Broke daddy's heart.
* You ate whole grain pasta with sauce for the first time and ate it up fast!
* You took your first 2 steps all alone for the first time.
* You love throwing things down and out of your crib.
* You got to slide down a bounce house slide with daddy!
* You tried plain yogurt for the first time. It was a little bitter for you!
We look forward to the countdown to your 1st birthday.
