Redneck Swimming Pool + Back Patio Dinner

Our sweet boys....they totally think that our hot tub is a swimming pool.  Ha. We have no shame in letting swim in it, even putting Navy's float in it, like it's a swimming pool.  Bossy will even often put on his goggles and go "swimming" under the water.  We like to refer to it as our "redneck swimming pool."  :)

Navy loves loves water.  All water.  Running water, waterfalls, puddles and our backyard hot tub.  He is so content with floating around in his float while splashing his brother + being splashed by his brother.  He loves it all.  

A lot of times, it's our night time activity before bed to wear them out just a little more to get them nice and tired for bed.  

This particular night, we had our dinner outside.  Jer recently put up those lights around the porch and their perfect.  They give off the perfect amount of light and ambiance on our patio.  It's so peaceful as long as you are sprayed with some OFF so the mosquitos aren't trying to suck you dry.

How We Spent Our Kid-Free Weekend

It was quite a b-u-s-y weekend if I do say so myself.

Sort of like a marathon....we kept going and going and going.  We could call it a Jennifer Ann weekend.

The B-man headed over to the grandparents house on Friday and spent the whole weekend with them, until Sunday evening.

When he goes to spend time with them we take full advantage of that time to get lots done.  We are always ready tackle the world in only 48 hours.  So its a race.

On our agenda:
- sneak in some quality time with the boytoy by the fire
- get over 100 leggings/orders out the door
- my bulk orders (wholesale) documents finished
- errands ran
- surprise Boston with his first little Christmas tree for his room
- watch church in bed
- worked on a "special" feature for a company that asked to feature my brand (can't wait to spill the beans soon!)
- and eat good food....think sushi.  :)

Oh one more thing.  I have to admit that I have a pretty awesome hubby.  He took the whole weekend to help with my business with willingness and I couldn't be more appreciative.  So, thank you, Jer!  We kicked some boo-tay this weekend!

Over The Weekend

We had another great weekend.  Pretty typical for the most part.

It's always nice when it starts off with sushi and ends with lots of quality family time.  Often, I am try to crank out orders so that they can be ready to mail first thing Monday morning.  But this weekend was different.  I maybe worked a total of 2 hours this whole weekend.  It was a nice break because I got re-fueled and I'm ready to roll.  Roll out lots more orders this coming week.

On our agenda for the weekend was to.... mow the yard, put out our Halloween decorations in our front yard (more to come on this), visit the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin, carve a pumpkin, church and attend my nieces wedding shower.  And we did just that plus a little more.
