I heart Thursday's Embrace the Camera.  To get into a picture with my little man makes my day.  I hope he loves them as much as I do.  :)

Embrace the Camera

I love getting into pictures with my B-man.  My hope is that one day he will cherish these pictures as much as I do/will!  I don't want to forget these moments.  They are precious.  They are critical to capture.  Before I know it, another 18 months will pass and he'll be turning 3!  But let's not go there.

I learned a new trick to get him to look at the iPhone camera.  Use the option where the screen shows you on it when taking a picture.  Since he loves to see himself in videos and pictures, holding the camera up while it's looking at himself makes him look directly into the camera.  :)

Oh and make sure you clean off the front flash so your pictures won't turn out like these....blurry.  Boo.

Embracing the Camera

My little man and I at the zoo on his 18 month birthday, Monday (zoo post is coming tomorrow).  :)  To say he had a blast is an understatement!

I'm back with "Embrace the Camera."  I would encourage all of you to embrace the camera WITH your little ones.  Get IN the pictures with those babies!  Pictures of you with your babies are always great things to have and to give to your children when they are older.  Seeing them with mommy and daddy can show them how much they were loved.  It's now my weekly goal.....to take at least one picture with my B-Man.  :)

Embrace The Camera

The Anderson Crew blog created this Embrace The Camera day.  I love this idea so much.  She's right and it's so true, in many years from now, I want Boston to not only have pictures of himself, but of his parents too.  One day we won't be here and all he'll have left of us are pictures.  I want those pictures to show him just how much we loved him.  But even before we are gone, we hope that when he's older/married/has children of his own, we hope that he would love to have photos of him with his mommy and daddy to look at.  I know that I always love seeing pictures of me as a child with each of my parents.  So it's my goal to start taking more pictures with him at least once a week (hopefully more than one).  :)  

 And I plan on making it my Friday post.
