But this year is different.
So I did.
Since my theme this year is twine and red and white stripes....I wanted to use leftover fabric from Boston's birthday party. I have a ton left over and since I love to recycle I knew I'd have plenty to work with.
Last year I got a plain brown twig wreathe at an after Christmas sale. I thought of painting it white but decided I'd keep it it's natural color. The main things I wanted on our wreathe were: a letter C, a saying, and fabric rosettes.
I got this plaque (spray painted red) from hobby lobby and I already had the letters (painted white) from making Boston's picture frame.
This letter (spray painted white) also came from Hobby Lobby for a buck 99.
In action making my rosettes. I'm inlovewithrosettes! I love everything rosettes. Especially headpieces. I just ordered some mega cute ones from one of my favorite websites, Etsy. You may see me wearing more on my noggin', soon. I can't wait. I may even make some for my sweaters or blouses. Who knows. But one thing we do know is that YOU will know what I decide to do. :)
All finished.
The snowflakes are ornaments, also from Hobby Lobby. I'm also using them for something else (you'll see soon). :-)
I'm really loving to look, colors and simple style. There's just enough things on it to make it simple but cute. The rosettes are so easy to make, too. I got a good tutorial off Pinterest. :)
Happy Holidays,
