Since we didn't take our tripod, we used our stroller as our camera stand. There was even a wedding going on about 50 yards away from us while we were taking them. Yeah, we probably got the stink eye from some of their guests but nothing was going to stop us. we were those people.
All in all it was a success and failure. Success because I did get a few good shots that I absolutely love and have even been hung on our wall aready and a failure because the sun was so orange that most of the photos turned out with a-too-orangy-look-for-my-taste look.
Nonetheless, they will serve as a fun memory for us.
Are we the only ones that use a stroller to act as a tripod? Are we the only ones that try to take our own family photos? Am I the only one that has humid-hair-problems when taking pictures on the beach?
These photos are beautiful! I don't blame you at all for wanting to get some great family shots at the beach. I would have done the same thing. :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I've never been to Pensacola, which is weird considering I'm in Florida and heard it was beautiful up there. (I'm down in South Florida, near Boca Raton.)
