backyard pool time

Last weekend, Memorial weekend, we stayed around the house and had some quality family time.  It was nice to have no plans.  It doesn't happen very often.  There's always something that I just "have" to do.  Like, shop or return something.  I'm notorious for changing my mind on purchases and then having to go back and return them.  But not this weekend.....we vegged out at home.

Staying home meant we had lots of backyard time.  You know, the usual.....playing in the kiddie pool.  Fun stuff....don't be jealous.  

Maybe someday we'll get a "real" pool put in.  

There's nothing more fun than getting to be at home with my two men.  We play, dance, take pictures, eat and sleep.  Boston does more of the sleeping, but there are times when Jer and I try to get a nap or two in when B goes down, if we can.  

This time, we watched a movie during one of B's naps.....In The Land of Blood and Honey.....pretty dang good movie I must say.  It's the one that Angelina Jolie directed, produced, wrote.....

Since Memorial weekend is the kick-off to summer here's a little but of our "summery" pool action.

They truly are best friends.
