Celeste from Our Fabulous Life In The Suburbs

Well hello Jen's lovely followers! I feel so honored that Jen asked me to guest post for her while she's taking the week off. I'm a loyal follower of her blog, AND I'm lucky enough to live close to her, which means that we're actually planning on meeting up for a little bloggy date soon! Try not to be too jealous :)

You can find me over at Our Fabulous Life in the Suburbs, where I chronicle the daily lives of myself, my supercute hubby, and our supercrazy little dog.
My husband Arsen and I were married last September here in Texas. Although wedding planning was probably the most stressful thing I've ever done, it was definitely worth it! We had a fabulous wedding with all of our friends and family and it truly was the wedding of my dreams. You can read all about it here

But Arsen and I didn't have just one wedding....we had two! Arsen is Armenian, and his family wanted a traditional Armenian wedding. At first we tried to plan one huge combo wedding, but eventually we all decided two separate weddings would be best. You can read all about our big fat Armenian wedding here.

On my blog you'll find posts about our daily life living in the suburbs, stories about crazy things my tiny dog has done, updates on what we're doing to our new house, and every great once in awhile a DIY project or recipe that I've tried. Basically anything and everything that happens in my life goes on the blog, so you never know what you're gonna get. I like to keep things interesting :)

To introduce myself to you, I thought I'd share a little list of my five favorite things. Get excited.

1.  My hubs (duh)

So far I'm really digging this whole marriage thing. The best thing about it is just getting to spend so much time with such a crazy, goofy, sweet guy. Don't get me wrong, things aren't perfect and blissful all the time. There were most definitely some growing pains in the first few months of marriage. It has been a challenge at times, but at the end of the day there isn't anyone else I would rather spend my life with. And look at him! He's just so pretty to look at every day :)

2. My furbaby

I'm head over heels for my little Addie. I treat her like an actual child, and I make no apologies for it. I could go on and on about how adorable and smart and crazy she is, but I'd hate to lose you here. So I'll just post another precious picture.

3. My Family

I am a blessed girl when it comes to family. From my parents to my aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins, I love 'em all. I'm an only child, and I think that has made for a closer relationship with my parents than a lot of people have. They would do anything in the world for me, and from day one I have never doubted their love. I feel super lucky to have them.

4. My Girls

I love love love my friends. I've never been the girl to have a million girl friends... I'd much rather have a few girls that I'm superclose to. All of my very favorite girls but one live in Oklahoma, and she is moving from Texas to Colorado soon. Break my heart why don't ya! But the fact that I don't get to see them all the time makes me appreciate them that much more. They are the best friends a girl can have, and they were fabulous Bridesmaids. I adore them all!

5. Oklahoma

 via

I am an Oklahoma girl at heart, and have been a very reluctant Texan. I lived in Oklahoma for the majority of the first 25 years of my life, and it will always be home. All of my family and most of my friends are there, and I'm never happier than when I'm home visiting them. If I had my way we would live there now....actually, if I had my way we would live on a beach somewhere, but Oklahoma would be my next choice. It's not the most exciting place in the world, but I love it oh-so-much.

So there you have it! You are now one step closer to learning all about me. If you're intrigued, I'd love it if you would come visit my little blog! You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. Stop by and say hello, I love making new bloggy friends! If you made it this far, thanks for sticking it out. And Jen, thanks again for having me!

Is she not adorable or what?!  I say so!  I hope you enjoyed getting to know her and I hope you will head over to her blog to read more!  :)

I am a new follower of Celeste's blog and love it! I learned so many fun things about her today too! I am also an Oklahoma girl by birth and transplanted to Texas before high school. I also have two furbabies that are treated better than myself at times :)
